Four-leaf sliding patio door with wide stiles and double rail
Free CAD block from the Doors in elevation library (148 blocks), drawn 1:1.
About this block
Four-leaf sliding patio door with wide stiles and double rail, drawn in plan, front and side elevation, the plan and the side elevation projected from its 3D model with hidden lines removed. It measures 7' 10" wide, 6' 11" high and 6½" deep (2.40 m × 2.10 m × 16 cm), and it is drawn 1:1, full size, so it drops into any drawing set up in meters or in inches without rescaling.
It also comes as a 3D model built from these drawings.

In practice
Where it goes
Wide stiles and a double rail give a traditional wood patio door for a cottage, a rectory or a sunroom. Draw it on the backyard elevation and on the section through the back room. The heavy framing cuts the glass area, which matters on an elevation where the window pattern is being compared.
Clearances to leave
Four leaves share the 7 ft 10 in (240 cm) opening in two pairs under a 6 ft 11 in (210 cm) head; each inner leaf slides in front of its outer neighbor, so the middle opens about 42½ in (108 cm). The wide stiles cost about 4 in (10 cm) of glass per leaf compared with a slim frame, and the tracks at sill and head want a level threshold.
Pairs with
Low four-leaf sliding patio door with lower panels is the shorter cousin under an eaves. Long-haired woman in sleeveless top gesturing forward stands outside. Painted sage green with the double rail picked out in white.
Common questions
What are the dimensions of this block?
It measures 7' 10" | 2.40 m wide by 6' 11" | 2.10 m high. The drawing is 1:1, full size, so it inserts at the right size in metric and in imperial drawings.
Is there a 3D model of this block?
Yes. A 3D model built from this block's drawings, 7' 10" wide, 6½" deep and 6' 11" high, is free to download in STEP, DXF 3D, OBJ, GLB, 3MF and STL.

3D model
Built at real size from the front drawing, from its front elevation: each leaf a panel of its own in one of two tracks, the back leaves running on behind the front ones, aluminium tracks at the sill and the head, the glazed openings in glass and the panels in a second tone; the arrows drawn on the elevation are only the sliding symbol and are not built. Drag to orbit, underneath too; scroll or pinch to zoom.

Design notes
- Street trees are usually planted 19' 8" to 32' 10" apart, at least 3' 3" from the curb.
- A parallel parking bay is about 6' 7" to 8' 2" wide and 18' 1" to 19' 8" long.
- People and cars at real size give clients an instant sense of scale in a facade drawing.
