Kitchen appliance CAD blocks in elevation and plan
CAD blocks for kitchen appliances and equipment in kitchens and utility rooms, 31 of them: refrigerators, washing machines (one behind a cabinet door) and a dishwasher, microwaves, a built-in oven and drawers, range hoods and a cooktop, rice cookers and other countertop appliances, and accessories such as wall rails with utensils and a dish rack. Each is drawn 1:1 and comes as DWG and DXF in meters and in inches, SVG and PNG; all 31 with plan, front and side views, and 31 as a 3D model in STEP, OBJ, GLB, 3MF and STL. Counting each view and each 3D model on its own, the library holds 124 blocks.

All 31 drawings of the library in one ZIP, one AutoCAD 2013 DWG per block, drawn 1:1, in meters or in inches. Each block page has its own files too, with DXF, SVG, PNG and the 3D model.
124 blocks of 8 kinds, every one drawn from a real piece at full size; the sizes below are the drawings' own, in feet and inches (switch units at the top of the page). By feature: 7 with a display, keypad or buttons, 6 with knobs or dials, 6 with a window or glass, 5 with a handle, 2 with legs, feet, a plinth or a frame. The table gives width by height, as the blocks are drawn from the front (14 and 16 are side views; the refrigerator plans 05 and 06 are left out); the hoods, the cooktop, the sink, the rails and the rack are sized on their own pages, with their depth.
Kitchens, kitchenettes, utility and laundry rooms, staff rooms and small offices: wherever food is kept, cooked and washed up. The big appliances stand in a run of base cabinets: a refrigerator at its end, a dishwasher or a washing machine in a slot under the counter, an oven in a housing under the cooktop, a hood on the wall above it; the small ones stand on the counter. The three runs above are built from blocks of this library, at real size: the cooking wall run 8' 10" × 2' 1", the fridge and dishwasher run 8' 6" × 2' 8" and the utility run 5' 11" × 2' 2".
Planning numbers that work for most kitchens: a slot 24 in (60 cm) wide for a dishwasher or a washing machine, under a counter about 36 in (91 cm) high; a refrigerator space about 1 in (2.5 cm) wider than the refrigerator, with room for its doors to open; 24 to 30 in (61 to 76 cm) between a cooktop and the hood above it, or what the hood maker asks; and at least 15 in (38 cm) of counter beside a refrigerator and next to a microwave, as landing space.
Questions
How big is a refrigerator?
The 2 refrigerators and freezers in this library measure 2' 0" to 3' 0" (61 cm to 91 cm) wide and 5' 10" to 6' 1" (1.79 m to 1.85 m) high. Full-size refrigerators are usually 30 to 36 in (76 to 91 cm) wide and about 70 in (1.78 m) high; a European fridge-freezer is 60 cm wide and 1.85 to 2.0 m high.
What size is a washing machine or a dishwasher?
The 5 washers and dishwashers here measure 23½" to 2' 6" (60 cm to 76 cm) wide and 2' 5" to 3' 6" (75 cm to 1.06 m) high, the tallest on its frame. Most are 24 in (60 cm) wide and fit under a 34 to 36 in (86 to 91 cm) counter; full-size US washers are 27 in (69 cm) wide.
How big is a microwave?
The 4 microwaves here measure 18" to 21½" (46 cm to 55 cm) wide and 11½" to 12½" (30 cm to 32 cm) high. Countertop microwaves are 18 to 24 in (45 to 60 cm) wide and need some air round them, as their maker states.
Do the blocks come in 3D?
Yes: all 31 come as 3D models, with the other views projected from the model. The drawings show the front; each model takes the usual depth of its kind, given on its block page. The two side elevations share the model of the same appliance drawn from the front.
Can I use them in Revit, SketchUp or Blender?
Yes. The DWG and DXF blocks import into Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp and any CAD program as 2D linework. The 3D models come as OBJ and GLB for Blender, 3ds Max and Twinmotion; STEP for Fusion, SolidWorks and FreeCAD; STL and 3MF for 3D printing.
Are they free for commercial projects?
Yes. Every file is free for personal and commercial work, with no account and no watermark.
How designers use these blocks
Kitchen and laundry elevationsPlace the front elevations on cabinet and wall elevations: each block is drawn at its real size, and on its page it stands at its real height, the hood over the cooktop and the microwave on the counter.
Plans31 blocks come with a plan and a side view projected from their 3D model, so front, plan and side match: for kitchen plans, appliance schedules and clearance checks.
Appliance schedules and servicesWidth, height and depth on every block page, in both units: a first check for the openings, the water, drain and power points and the vent before the appliances are chosen.
Presentation drawingsSVG and PNG for rendered elevations and plans in Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma or Canva, for client boards and kitchen brochures.
BIM and other CAD programsThe DWG and DXF blocks import or link into Revit, ArchiCAD, Vectorworks, BricsCAD and SketchUp as 2D linework for plans and elevations.
3D and scale models31 blocks come as 3D models: OBJ and GLB for Blender, 3ds Max, Twinmotion and Unity, STEP for Fusion, SolidWorks and FreeCAD, and 3MF or STL to print a kitchen at 1:20 or 1:50.
