Counter with three rear compartments and long well
Free CAD block from the Commercial kitchen and buffets library (96 blocks), drawn 1:1.
About this block
Counter with three rear compartments and long well, drawn in plan, front and side elevation, all three projected from its 3D model so they match to the millimeter. It measures 6' 0" wide, 2' 4" deep and 2' 11" high (1.83 m × 70 cm × 88 cm), and it is drawn 1:1, full size, so it drops into any drawing set up in meters or in inches without rescaling.
It also comes as a 3D model built from these drawings.

In practice
Where it goes
A serving or cold-display counter with a long well at the front and three compartments at the rear, for cafés, cafeterias and hotel breakfast rooms. Place it in front-of-house layouts at ¼ in = 1 ft (1:50), drawn with the well facing the customer and the compartments facing staff, so the plan shows which side is served from.
Clearances to leave
On the customer side allow 36 in (90 cm) for a line plus 24 in (60 cm) per person along the 71 in (180 cm) front; on the staff side keep 40 in (100 cm) of aisle so the rear compartments can be opened. At 28 in (70 cm) deep it lines up with a standard back counter.
Pairs with
Continue the line with Curved-end serving counter with four round wells for the hot section, and park Square mobile cart with front-offset inset top at its end for extra plates. A stone top with the well recessed suits a café.
