Double-ended rectangular bathtub with two headrests
Free CAD block from the Modern bathroom set library (78 blocks), drawn 1:1.
About this block
Double-ended rectangular bathtub with two headrests, drawn in plan, front and side elevation, the front and side elevations projected from its 3D model with hidden lines removed. It measures 5' 11" wide, 3' 4" deep and 20" high (1.81 m × 1.01 m × 51 cm), and it is drawn 1:1, full size, so it drops into any drawing set up in meters or in inches without rescaling.
It also comes as a 3D model built from these drawings.

In practice
Where it goes
Headrests at both ends mark this as a tub for two, the kind drawn into master bathrooms in houses and suites, with the drain in the middle so nobody sits on it. Place it on the floor plan freestanding or in a wide alcove, with the faucet coming off the center of one long side or rising from the floor.
Clearances to leave
The 5 ft 11 in (181 cm) length just clears the 67 in (170 cm) standard bay, but the 3 ft 4 in (101 cm) width is the surprise; placed freestanding it wants 24–30 in (60–75 cm) clear on at least one long side. Keep 8 in (20 cm) off a wall for cleaning if it is not built in.
Pairs with
Sits well with the Hand shower on wall holder with concealed mixer as its filler in elevation and the Oval washbasin with wide rim and central drain as a twin pair opposite. A floor-standing tub filler and a wood tub tray complete the arrangement.

3D model
Built at real size from the plan drawing, in white acrylic at the usual US rim height (15 in for a rectangular alcove bath, 20 in for corner, round and deck baths): the deck or apron as the plan draws it, the bowl lofted from the rim opening down to the floor the plan draws, seats and steps where it has them, the chrome waste on the drain and the overflow on the end wall.
