Where it goes
For kitchen plans where a 26 in (65 cm) cooktop sits in a wider bay: renovated apartments, bungalows and small houses. The round star grates read as four separate rings, so the block tells a gas cooktop apart from an induction surface on the layout. Drop it into the floor plan and into the enlarged kitchen plan at ½ in = 1 ft (1:20).
Clearances to leave
The 26 in (65 cm) width will not fit a 24 in (60 cm) base cabinet, so plan an 32 in (80 cm) cabinet below or a countertop that bridges two cabinets. A pan landing of 24 in (60 cm) beside it, an aisle of 42–48 in (107–122 cm) and a canopy 24–30 in (61–76 cm) up complete the cooking zone.
