Three-seat sofa with rolled scroll arms
Free CAD block from the Sofas library (193 blocks), drawn 1:1.
About this block
Three-seat sofa with rolled scroll arms, drawn in plan, front and side elevation, the elevations drawn to match the plan. It measures 6' 10" wide, 2' 6" deep and 2' 7" high (2.09 m × 77 cm × 80 cm), and it is drawn 1:1, full size, so it drops into any drawing set up in meters or in inches without rescaling.
It also comes as a 3D model built from these drawings.

In practice
Where it goes
Grand living rooms, the lounge of a traditional hotel and the reception rooms of an embassy are the scale this scroll-arm three-seater needs. Center it on the fireplace wall in plan, with the rolled arms clear of the flanking armchairs; at 6 ft 10 in (209 cm) wide it is the piece the rest of the room is set out from, not the one squeezed in last.
Clearances to leave
At 6 ft 10 in (209 cm) it is wider than a 6 ft 7 in (200 cm) standard three-seater, so check the alcove first; the rolls alone account for the extra. Keep the facing sofa within 8–10 ft (2.5–3 m), 18 in (45 cm) to a coffee table, and 24 in (60 cm) at each end for a lamp table and the route past it.
Pairs with
Two of the Armchair with rolled scroll arms across the hearth, with the Two-seat sofa with rolled scroll arms on the window wall, make a period set. The Three-seat sofa with low rolled arms gives the side elevation; use damask.
Common questions
What are the dimensions of this block?
It measures 6' 10" | 2.09 m wide by 2' 6" | 77 cm deep. The drawing is 1:1, full size, so it inserts at the right size in metric and in imperial drawings.
Is there a 3D model of this block?
Yes. A 3D model built from this block's drawings, 6' 9" wide, 2' 6" deep and 2' 7" high, is free to download in STEP, DXF 3D, OBJ, GLB, 3MF and STL. It is a closed part, so it also prints at 1:50 or 1:100 for a scale model.
File formats, AutoCAD versions and units are explained on the formats page; every file is free for personal and commercial work under the license.
