Curved three-seat sofa with channel-pleated back
Free CAD block from the Sofas library (193 blocks), drawn 1:1.
About this block
Curved three-seat sofa with channel-pleated back, drawn in plan, front and side elevation, the front and side elevations projected from its 3D model with hidden lines removed. It measures 6' 4" wide, 2' 7" deep and 2' 7" high (1.92 m × 79 cm × 80 cm), and it is drawn 1:1, full size, so it drops into any drawing set up in meters or in inches without rescaling.
It also comes as a 3D model built from these drawings.

In practice
Where it goes
Hotel lobbies, bars, a round reading room and lounges built around a central feature are the plans a curved three-seater belongs on. Insert it on the furniture layer with its concave side facing the feature or the coffee table; the channel-pleated back draws as a fan of lines following the arc, which makes the curve legible even at ⅛ in = 1 ft (1:100).
Clearances to leave
The curve throws the ends forward: measure the 16–18 in (40–45 cm) table gap from the center of the arc and keep the ends at least 24 in (60 cm) from the next piece. At 6 ft 4 in (192 cm) wide and 31 in (78 cm) deep it fits a 6 ft 7 in (2 m) bay, and a round coffee table follows the arc better.
Pairs with
Combine it with the Large curved five-seat sofa with pleated back in a lobby, or with the Tub armchair with channel-pleated back and pillow in a bar. The Curved kidney-shaped sofa with continuous back is the nearest match elsewhere; mohair shows the pleats.
