Four-burner cooktop with ribbed griddle and side knobs
Free CAD block from the Ranges and cooktops library (144 blocks), drawn 1:1.
About this block
Four-burner cooktop with ribbed griddle and side knobs, drawn in plan, front and side elevation, all three projected from its 3D model so they match to the millimeter. It measures 2' 4" wide, 18½" deep and 3" high (72 cm × 47 cm × 8.2 cm), and it is drawn 1:1, full size, so it drops into any drawing set up in meters or in inches without rescaling.
It also comes as a 3D model built from these drawings.

In practice
Where it goes
Suited to family kitchens, vacation villas and small restaurant plans where a griddle plate matters: the ribbed strip between the burner pairs reads as a distinct zone on the layout. The side knobs push the controls to the right edge, so set the block with that edge away from a wall return. Both the general plan and a ½ in = 1 ft (1:20) cooking-zone enlargement take it.
Clearances to leave
With knobs on the side rather than the front, leave at least 15 in (38 cm) of countertop on the knob side so a hand can reach them past a hot pan. Its 18½ in (47 cm) depth leaves 5 in (13 cm) behind on a 24 in (60 cm) counter, and the hood should be 24–30 in (61–76 cm) above the griddle.
Pairs with
Combine it with the Rounded double-bowl sink with swivel faucet on the same run and the Utensil rail with spatulas and serving spoon in the elevation, specifying the griddle in cast iron against a stainless top.
Common questions
What are the dimensions of this block?
It measures 2' 4" | 72 cm wide by 18½" | 47 cm deep. The drawing is 1:1, full size, so it inserts at the right size in metric and in imperial drawings.
Is there a 3D model of this block?
Yes. A 3D model built from this block's drawings, 2' 4" wide, 18½" deep and 3" high, is free to download in STEP, DXF 3D, OBJ, GLB, 3MF and STL. It is a closed part, so it also prints at 1:50 or 1:100 for a scale model.
File formats, AutoCAD versions and units are explained on the formats page; every file is free for personal and commercial work under the license.
