Long racetrack table for six with curved-back chairs
Free CAD block from the Minimalist tables and chairs library (132 blocks), drawn 1:1.
About this block
Long racetrack table for six with curved-back chairs, drawn in plan, front and side elevation, the front and side elevations projected from its 3D model with hidden lines removed. It measures 12' 6" wide, 8' 1" deep and 2' 10" high (3.80 m × 2.47 m × 87 cm), and it is drawn 1:1, full size, so it drops into any drawing set up in meters or in inches without rescaling.
It also comes as a 3D model built from these drawings.

In practice
Where it goes
Stretched racetrack tops with six chairs go in long, narrow meeting rooms, a partners' dining room or the bridge between two offices in a converted row house. The rounded ends with no chair on them leave both ends clear for a presenter or a tea cart. Draw it on the build-out plan with its long axis along the room and the screen on an end wall.
Clearances to leave
Six chairs take the set to 12 ft 6 in by 8 ft 1 in (380 by 247 cm), about 10 in (25 cm) longer than the wide racetrack for the same six. Allow 40 in (100 cm) behind the chairs, 48 in (120 cm) at the presentation end and 36 in (90 cm) at the other.
Pairs with
The Racetrack table for eight with curved-back chairs is the same top with an extra seat per side. For the room next door, use the Wide racetrack table for six with curved-back chairs. A dark top and light chairs keep the long oval readable.

Is there a 3D model of this block?
Yes. A 3D model built from this block's drawings, 12' 3" wide, 8' 0" deep and 2' 10" high, is free to download in STEP, DXF 3D, OBJ, GLB, 3MF and STL. It is a closed part, so it also prints at 1:50 or 1:100 for a scale model.
File formats, AutoCAD versions and units are explained on the formats page; every file is free for personal and commercial work under the license.
