Racetrack table for six with plain chairs
Free CAD block from the Minimalist tables and chairs library (132 blocks), drawn 1:1.
About this block
Racetrack table for six with plain chairs, drawn in plan, front and side elevation, the front and side elevations projected from its 3D model with hidden lines removed. It measures 10' 6" wide, 7' 1" deep and 2' 10" high (3.20 m × 2.16 m × 86 cm), and it is drawn 1:1, full size, so it drops into any drawing set up in meters or in inches without rescaling.
It also comes as a 3D model built from these drawings.

In practice
Where it goes
Six schematic chairs on a racetrack top, three a side and none at the ends, is the plan symbol for a meeting room where the ends are kept clear for a presenter and a cart. It goes on early build-out plans for offices, schools and clinics; the same table outline as the eight-seater lets the two be swapped as the brief changes.
Clearances to leave
The footprint matches the eight-seat version at 10 ft 6 in by 7 ft 1 in (320 by 216 cm), but without end chairs each sitter has about 36 in (90 cm) of edge. Leave 40 in (100 cm) behind the chairs and 48 in (120 cm) at the presentation end; the far end needs only 36 in (91 cm).
Pairs with
The Racetrack table for eight with plain chairs adds two seats; the Short racetrack table for six with angled plain chairs is the informal version. A clinic waiting corner takes the Two-seat sofa with separate bolster back and arm pads.
Common questions
What are the dimensions of this block?
It measures 10' 6" | 3.20 m wide by 7' 1" | 2.16 m deep. The drawing is 1:1, full size, so it inserts at the right size in metric and in imperial drawings.
Is there a 3D model of this block?
Yes. A 3D model built from this block's drawings, 10' 9" wide, 7' 4" deep and 2' 10" high, is free to download in STEP, DXF 3D, OBJ, GLB, 3MF and STL. It is a closed part, so it also prints at 1:50 or 1:100 for a scale model.
File formats, AutoCAD versions and units are explained on the formats page; every file is free for personal and commercial work under the license.
