Hexagonal table of two trapezoids with two chairs
Free CAD block from the Minimalist tables and chairs library (132 blocks), drawn 1:1.
About this block
Hexagonal table of two trapezoids with two chairs, drawn in plan, front and side elevation, the front and side elevations projected from its 3D model with hidden lines removed. It measures 4' 7" wide, 8' 7" deep and 2' 10" high (1.40 m × 2.61 m × 87 cm), and it is drawn 1:1, full size, so it drops into any drawing set up in meters or in inches without rescaling.
It also comes as a 3D model built from these drawings.

In practice
Where it goes
Pushed together, two trapezoids form a hexagon, and that closed condition is drawn here with one chair on each end seat, so a library reading table or a classroom pair is covered in one block. It belongs on a school furniture layout, a library plan or a hot-desking zone, and it is narrow enough to sit between two bookstacks.
Clearances to leave
At 4 ft 7 in by 8 ft 7 in (140 by 261 cm) with chairs, it is a slim unit; the chairs sit at the pointed ends, so leave 36 in (90 cm) beyond each and only 24 in (60 cm) alongside. Between bookstacks, add a 48 in (120 cm) aisle to the table width.
Pairs with
Open it out into the Two offset trapezoid tables with two chairs when the plan needs the split condition. In a library, the Narrow chaise longue with partial side backrest and the Three-seat sofa in slim rectangular frame give the soft seating nearby.
Common questions
What are the dimensions of this block?
It measures 4' 7" | 1.40 m wide by 8' 7" | 2.61 m deep. The drawing is 1:1, full size, so it inserts at the right size in metric and in imperial drawings.
Is there a 3D model of this block?
Yes. A 3D model built from this block's drawings, 4' 7" wide, 8' 7" deep and 2' 10" high, is free to download in STEP, DXF 3D, OBJ, GLB, 3MF and STL. It is a closed part, so it also prints at 1:50 or 1:100 for a scale model.
File formats, AutoCAD versions and units are explained on the formats page; every file is free for personal and commercial work under the license.
