Narrow single bed with folded triangular flap
Free CAD block from the Beds with clearances library (86 blocks), drawn 1:1.
About this block
Narrow single bed with folded triangular flap, drawn in plan, front and side elevation, the front and side elevations projected from its 3D model with hidden lines removed. It measures 2' 7" wide, 6' 3" deep and 3' 3" high (80 cm × 1.90 m × 1.00 m), and it is drawn 1:1, full size, so it drops into any drawing set up in meters or in inches without rescaling.
It also comes as a 3D model built from these drawings.

In practice
Where it goes
Children's rooms, bunk-room layouts, staff housing and camper van or cabin plans where every 4 in (10 cm) counts. At 31 in (80 cm) wide it is the narrowest bed in this set; the folded triangular flap at the corner gives a sketchy, hand-drawn look that suits a cabin or a nursery board. Insert it in plan with the long side along the wall.
Clearances to leave
Even a narrow bed needs 24 in (60 cm) on the side used for getting in, so bed plus strip comes to 55 in (140 cm); with the 36 in (90 cm) foot passage the 6 ft 3 in (190 cm) length grows to 9 ft 2 in (280 cm). Two of them side by side with one gap between fit a room 7 ft 3 in (220 cm) wide.
Pairs with
Stack it against Narrow single bed with diagonal duvet edge to draw bunk beds, one block over the other in a section, or run four in a row in a hostel. A Small square side table with inset top fills the gap between pairs.
Common questions
What are the dimensions of this block?

Is there a 3D model of this block?
Yes. A 3D model built from this block's drawings, 2' 7" wide, 6' 3" deep and 3' 3" high, is free to download in STEP, DXF 3D, OBJ, GLB, 3MF and STL. It is a closed part, so it also prints at 1:50 or 1:100 for a scale model.
File formats, AutoCAD versions and units are explained on the formats page; every file is free for personal and commercial work under the license.
