Single bed with nightstand and turned-down sheet
Free CAD block from the Beds with clearances library (86 blocks), drawn 1:1.
About this block
Single bed with nightstand and turned-down sheet, drawn in plan, front and side elevation, the front and side elevations projected from its 3D model with hidden lines removed. It measures 5' 0" wide, 6' 11" deep and 3' 3" high (1.52 m × 2.10 m × 1.00 m), and it is drawn 1:1, full size, so it drops into any drawing set up in meters or in inches without rescaling.
It also comes as a 3D model built from these drawings.
From the Beds with clearances library: 86 blocks drawn to one standard, each one available on its own.
In practice
Where it goes
Student housing, a child's room or a hospital-style single room where the nightstand is fixed and the plan needs the whole unit at once. The turned-down sheet in the drawing gives a presentation plan some life without extra hatching. Because the nightstand is part of the block, the 60 in (152 cm) overall width already includes it, so position the group against the wall as one piece.
Clearances to leave
The bed itself takes about 39 in (100 cm) of the 60 in (152 cm) overall width, and the nightstand side needs no extra clearance beyond the 18 in (45 cm) it already occupies. Leave 24 in (60 cm) on the open side for making the bed, and 36 in (90 cm) past the 6 ft 11 in (210 cm) length if the foot faces the door.
Pairs with
Put a second copy mirrored across a shared wall for a twin room, or combine with Pair of twin beds with shared nightstand when two sleepers share. A Shallow armchair with curved back corners by the window gives a study bedroom somewhere to sit.
Common questions
What are the dimensions of this block?
It measures 5' 0" | 1.52 m wide by 6' 11" | 2.10 m deep. The drawing is 1:1, full size, so it inserts at the right size in metric and in imperial drawings.
Is there a 3D model of this block?
Yes. A 3D model built from this block's drawings, 5' 0" wide, 6' 11" deep and 3' 3" high, is free to download in STEP, DXF 3D, OBJ, GLB, 3MF and STL. It is a closed part, so it also prints at 1:50 or 1:100 for a scale model.
File formats, AutoCAD versions and units are explained on the formats page; every file is free for personal and commercial work under the license.

- Keep the door swing free of furniture, and avoid placing the bed in line with the door.
