Two-leaf sliding door with shaped-top glazing and plain base
Free CAD block from the Doors in elevation library (148 blocks), drawn 1:1.
About this block
Two-leaf sliding door with shaped-top glazing and plain base, drawn in plan, front and side elevation, the plan and the side elevation projected from its 3D model with hidden lines removed. It measures 5' 11" wide, 6' 11" high and 6½" deep (1.80 m × 2.10 m × 16 cm), and it is drawn 1:1, full size, so it drops into any drawing set up in meters or in inches without rescaling.
It also comes as a 3D model built from these drawings.

In practice
Where it goes
Shaped-top panels bring a Victorian or Gothic Revival note to a church hall, a pub or a hotel in an old institution. Use it on the entrance elevation and on the interior elevation of the hall where it is the main pair. The plain base keeps the shaped panels off the floor, where feet would scuff them.
Clearances to leave
The 71 in (180 cm) frame holds two sliding leaves under a 6 ft 11 in (210 cm) head; the six shaped lights of each leaf are glass and the plain base is solid. The shaped tops look cramped without a 19½ in (50 cm) wall band above the frame, so place it under a ceiling of 8 ft 6 in (260 cm) or more.
Pairs with
Two-leaf sliding door with tall twin panels and plain base shares the same lower band. Figure striding with one arm reaching out slides it open on a presentation drawing. Stained mahogany with the shaped tops picked out in a darker tone.

What are the dimensions of this block?
It measures 5' 11" | 1.80 m wide by 6' 11" | 2.10 m high. The drawing is 1:1, full size, so it inserts at the right size in metric and in imperial drawings.
Is there a 3D model of this block?
Yes. A 3D model built from this block's drawings, 5' 11" wide, 6½" deep and 6' 11" high, is free to download in STEP, DXF 3D, OBJ, GLB, 3MF and STL.

3D model
Built at real size from the front drawing, from its front elevation: each leaf a panel of its own in one of two tracks, the back leaves running on behind the front ones, aluminium tracks at the sill and the head, the glazed openings in glass and the panels in a second tone; the arrows drawn on the elevation are only the sliding symbol and are not built. Drag to orbit, underneath too; scroll or pinch to zoom.

Design notes
- Street trees are usually planted 19' 8" to 32' 10" apart, at least 3' 3" from the curb.
- A parallel parking bay is about 6' 7" to 8' 2" wide and 18' 1" to 19' 8" long.
- People and cars at real size give clients an instant sense of scale in a facade drawing.
