Large L-shaped corner desk with office chair
Free CAD block from the Minimalist tables and chairs library (132 blocks), drawn 1:1.
About this block
Large L-shaped corner desk with office chair, drawn in plan, front and side elevation, the front and side elevations projected from its 3D model with hidden lines removed. It measures 6' 11" wide, 6' 7" deep and 2' 10" high (2.10 m × 2.00 m × 86 cm), and it is drawn 1:1, full size, so it drops into any drawing set up in meters or in inches without rescaling.
It also comes as a 3D model built from these drawings.

In practice
Where it goes
Corner desks in an L go into home offices, principals' offices, small professional offices and the manager's corner of an open-plan floor. The chair is drawn in the inside angle, so the block is placed into a room corner with both legs of the L against the walls, or in the middle of a floor with the short leg forming a return for a monitor.
Clearances to leave
With the chair the block is 6 ft 11 in by 6 ft 7 in (210 by 200 cm). The inside corner needs 40 in (100 cm) behind the chair for it to roll back, and 48 in (120 cm) if a visitor approaches from the open side; keep the return at the 30 in (75 cm) desk height.
Pairs with
The Rectangular desk with armchair and two visitor chairs is the sister block for a manager's room, and the Armchair with separate bolster back and arm pads gives the visitor corner. Draw a filing pedestal under the longer leg of the L.
Common questions
What are the dimensions of this block?
It measures 6' 11" | 2.10 m wide by 6' 7" | 2.00 m deep. The drawing is 1:1, full size, so it inserts at the right size in metric and in imperial drawings.
Is there a 3D model of this block?
Yes. A 3D model built from this block's drawings, 6' 11" wide, 6' 7" deep and 2' 10" high, is free to download in STEP, DXF 3D, OBJ, GLB, 3MF and STL. It is a closed part, so it also prints at 1:50 or 1:100 for a scale model.
File formats, AutoCAD versions and units are explained on the formats page; every file is free for personal and commercial work under the license.
