Rectangular table for four with plain chairs
Free CAD block from the Minimalist tables and chairs library (132 blocks), drawn 1:1.
About this block
Rectangular table for four with plain chairs, drawn in plan, front and side elevation, the front and side elevations projected from its 3D model with hidden lines removed. It measures 3' 11" wide, 5' 11" deep and 2' 10" high (1.20 m × 1.80 m × 86 cm), and it is drawn 1:1, full size, so it drops into any drawing set up in meters or in inches without rescaling.
It also comes as a 3D model built from these drawings.

In practice
Where it goes
Two chairs a side on a slim top is the café table, the breakfast bar alternative and the hot-desk pair in an office, drawn here with plain square chairs so it works at 1/16 in = 1 ft (1:200) and ¼ in = 1 ft (1:50). Place it against a wall in a kitchen plan with the two far chairs deleted, or in rows of six for a café.
Clearances to leave
The block is only 3 ft 11 in (120 cm) wide and 5 ft 11 in (180 cm) deep including the chairs, so each diner has 24 in (60 cm) of edge, the standard minimum. In a café leave 36 in (90 cm) between chair backs of adjacent tables and against a wall, and 48 in (120 cm) on the serving aisle.
Pairs with
Rows of these mix well with the Round table for four with plain chairs in a café. In a kitchen plan it faces the Two-seat sofa with slim arms and projecting seat; a fixed wall bench frees a chair.
Common questions
What are the dimensions of this block?
It measures 3' 11" | 1.20 m wide by 5' 11" | 1.80 m deep. The drawing is 1:1, full size, so it inserts at the right size in metric and in imperial drawings.
Is there a 3D model of this block?
Yes. A 3D model built from this block's drawings, 3' 11" wide, 6' 2" deep and 2' 10" high, is free to download in STEP, DXF 3D, OBJ, GLB, 3MF and STL. It is a closed part, so it also prints at 1:50 or 1:100 for a scale model.
File formats, AutoCAD versions and units are explained on the formats page; every file is free for personal and commercial work under the license.
