Rectangular table for six with plain chairs
Free CAD block from the Minimalist tables and chairs library (132 blocks), drawn 1:1.
About this block
Rectangular table for six with plain chairs, drawn in plan, front and side elevation, the front and side elevations projected from its 3D model with hidden lines removed. It measures 7' 10" wide, 5' 11" deep and 2' 10" high (2.40 m × 1.80 m × 86 cm), and it is drawn 1:1, full size, so it drops into any drawing set up in meters or in inches without rescaling.
It also comes as a 3D model built from these drawings.

In practice
Where it goes
Middle size of the three plain-chair six-seaters, this one is closest to a real 71 in (180 cm) dining table: three chairs a side at a normal pitch. Use it on an apartment or house plan when the detail of the chair does not matter yet, or on a school or office plan where dozens of tables are needed and a light block keeps the file quick.
Clearances to leave
With chairs the block is 7 ft 10 in by 5 ft 11 in (240 by 180 cm), and each side's three sitters have roughly 26 in (65 cm) of edge, the comfortable figure. Allow 36 in (91 cm) from chair back to wall where nobody passes and 44 in (110 cm) where they do; a 13 ft (4 m) wide dining room takes it with a sideboard.
Pairs with
Pair with the Long rectangular table for six with plain chairs for a wider pitch, or the Rectangular table for four with plain chairs as the two-a-side version. For a living-dining plan the Three-seat sofa with low rolled arms gives the elevation.
Common questions
What are the dimensions of this block?
It measures 7' 10" | 2.40 m wide by 5' 11" | 1.80 m deep. The drawing is 1:1, full size, so it inserts at the right size in metric and in imperial drawings.
Is there a 3D model of this block?
Yes. A 3D model built from this block's drawings, 8' 2" wide, 6' 2" deep and 2' 10" high, is free to download in STEP, DXF 3D, OBJ, GLB, 3MF and STL. It is a closed part, so it also prints at 1:50 or 1:100 for a scale model.
File formats, AutoCAD versions and units are explained on the formats page; every file is free for personal and commercial work under the license.
