Compact rectangular table for six with plain chairs
Free CAD block from the Minimalist tables and chairs library (132 blocks), drawn 1:1.
About this block
Compact rectangular table for six with plain chairs, drawn in plan, front and side elevation, the front and side elevations projected from its 3D model with hidden lines removed. It measures 7' 3" wide, 5' 11" deep and 2' 10" high (2.20 m × 1.80 m × 86 cm), and it is drawn 1:1, full size, so it drops into any drawing set up in meters or in inches without rescaling.
It also comes as a 3D model built from these drawings.

In practice
Where it goes
At the compact end of the plain-chair range, three seats a side at a tight pitch is a cafeteria, student kitchen or staff break-room table. The schematic chairs keep the block fast on a plan with many tables, and the short length lets it fit between two columns on a 10 ft (3 m) grid. Use it for capacity studies before the furniture is chosen.
Clearances to leave
The block measures 7 ft 3 in by 5 ft 11 in (220 by 180 cm), leaving each sitter about 24 in (60 cm) of edge, enough for a tray but not for papers. Keep 36 in (90 cm) between chair backs of adjacent tables, 48 in (120 cm) on the main aisle and 36 in (91 cm) to a wall.
Pairs with
Run four in a cafeteria with the Rectangular table for six with plain chairs as the staff table. A student common room adds the Low three-seat sofa with track arms on slim frame and a Rectangular coffee table with inset top.
Common questions
What are the dimensions of this block?
It measures 7' 3" | 2.20 m wide by 5' 11" | 1.80 m deep. The drawing is 1:1, full size, so it inserts at the right size in metric and in imperial drawings.
Is there a 3D model of this block?
Yes. A 3D model built from this block's drawings, 7' 6" wide, 6' 2" deep and 2' 10" high, is free to download in STEP, DXF 3D, OBJ, GLB, 3MF and STL. It is a closed part, so it also prints at 1:50 or 1:100 for a scale model.
File formats, AutoCAD versions and units are explained on the formats page; every file is free for personal and commercial work under the license.
