Double-bowl sink with ribbed left drainboard
Free CAD block from the Kitchen sinks library (155 blocks), drawn 1:1.
About this block
Double-bowl sink with ribbed left drainboard, drawn in plan, front and side elevation, all three projected from its 3D model so they match to the millimeter. It measures 4' 4" wide, 19½" deep and 12" high (1.32 m × 50 cm × 30 cm), and it is drawn 1:1, full size, so it drops into any drawing set up in meters or in inches without rescaling.
It also comes as a 3D model built from these drawings.

In practice
Where it goes
A ribbed drainboard on the left of two bowls stretches this plan sink to 52 in (132 cm), which places it in a commercial kitchen, a school cafeteria, a laboratory or a farmhouse back kitchen rather than an apartment. On the floor plan it sits in a long run against the wall; the ribs show which way dishes drain.
Clearances to leave
Give the 52 in (132 cm) top its own run of base cabinets and keep 24 in (61 cm) of countertop beyond the right-hand bowl, since the left side already has the drainboard. Its 19½ in (50 cm) depth still leaves a faucet ledge on a 25 in (64 cm) top, and a kitchen where two people work needs 48–60 in (122–150 cm) of aisle.
Pairs with
Its right-handed counterpart is Square-edge sink with ribbed right drainboard, and Double-bowl sink with two faucets and ribbed drainboard is the longer commercial version. Place Freestanding gas range with grates and drawer across the aisle in a cafeteria layout.
