Extendable rectangular dining table for four to six
Free CAD block from the Dining tables with chairs library (86 blocks), drawn 1:1.
About this block
Extendable rectangular dining table for four to six, drawn in plan, front and side elevation, the front and side elevations projected from its 3D model with hidden lines removed. It measures 9' 10" wide, 7' 8" deep and 2' 10" high (3.00 m × 2.35 m × 86 cm), and it is drawn 1:1, full size, so it drops into any drawing set up in meters or in inches without rescaling.
It also comes as a 3D model built from these drawings.

In practice
Where it goes
Extendable tables need to be shown in both states, and the block draws the open position so the room can be checked at its most crowded. Put it on the floor plan of an apartment or row house where the everyday setting is four and the leaf is for guests, and dash the closed outline over it if the brief asks for the normal condition.
Clearances to leave
Open, with six chairs out, the set covers 9 ft 10 in by 7 ft 8 in (300 by 235 cm), so the room needs about 15 ft (4.5 m) of clear length. Keep 36 in (90 cm) beyond the end chairs for fitting the leaf and 44 in (110 cm) where someone passes behind a seated diner.
Pairs with
Pair it with the Two-seat sofa with bolster backs and cross-marked cushions on the other side of an open-plan room, keeping the sofa back as the divider. Store the leaf in a sideboard drawn along the wall nearest the table's short end.
